I am writing to ask for some help with a possible connection to the
Harvey family. Legend in my family, and DAR applications, insist on a
link between the Ramsey family and the Harvey family of Perquimans
County. A William Ramsey of Bladen and New Hanover Counties had a son
named William Harvey Ramsey. I am trying to locate any information
that might either substantial or refute this claim. Any assistance
you might offer would be greatly appreciated.
