HERTFORD - Tommie W. Ellis, 90, a native of Chowan County, died Feb. 28, 2003 
in Brian Care Center.

Ellis was the son of the late William and Mary Ann Dail Ellis. He was a farmer 
and formerly worked for Weyerhaeuser. He was a member of Calvary Pentecoastal 
Holiness Church.  

Funeral services were held March 2, 2003 in Swindell Funeral Home Chapel with
Ken Spivey officiating. 

Burial was in: Cedar Wood Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Maude Winslow Ellis.
