ELIZABETH CITY - Lloyd Emerson Rogerson, 78, a native of Perquimans County, 
died Sept. 7, 2001, in the Albemarle Hospital.

Rogerson is the son of the late Waldo Emerson Rogerson and the late Edna Madre 
Rogerson.

Survivors include his wife, Lucy Russell Rogerson; one sister, Sara Sexton of 
Elizabeth City; a brother, Ray Waldo Rogerson of Leesburg, FL.

Rogerson was a retired commercial fisherman, a member of the VFW Post #6060 and 
a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Navy.

A graveside service was conducted Sept. 10, 2001 in the Memory Gardens Cemetery 
by the Rev. Tony Moore.
