The following is a complete listing of the tombstones in the Hollowell-Onley Cemetery in Perquimans County, NC.
Location:is on the right off Craney Island Road (#1212) about one mile from Turnpike Road
(#1001). It is up a lane beside the farm of Asa Stallings and about a mile and a half past the
Wilkins Cemetery. It is in the woods but the path back to it is passable by tractor. Asa
Stallings says the cemetery is on a ridge known as "Head of the Field" and the surrounding area
was once in cultivation. The Joel Onley house used to stand nearby.

A granite marker was put there by Ray and Marjorie Stewart of Indianapolis,
Indiana in 1985. Ray's ancestors are buried here and he felt the need for a
permanent marker. Many Onley and Hollowells are buried here in unmarked graves.
The marker reads:

Asa Stallings who has lived in the area all his life lists the other Onleys and
Hollowells known to be buried here in unmarked graves.
